Iron Test Kit, Octa-Slide 2, 0.5-10.0 PPM | LaMotte 4447-01

This kit tests for Iron using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator. Range and sensitivity is 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0, 10.0 ppm Fe.

Test kit includes:

• Iron Reagent #1 – 30 mL
• Iron Reagent #2 – 4.5 grams
• Test Tubes plastic w/caps (2)
• Spoon- 0.05g
• Octa-Slide Viewer
• Iron Octa-Slide Bar 0.5-10 ppm

Bipyridyl is a ferrous iron indicator that tests total iron after any ferric iron is reduced to ferrous in the sample. Ferrous and ferric may be tested separately by eliminating the reduction step. A similar ferrous indicator, 1,10 phenanthroline, is used in the DC1200 kit.
