Low Range Manganese Test Kit | Octa-Slide 2, 0.05 - 1.0 PPM | LaMotte 3588-02

The Low Range Manganese test kit measures Manganese levels at 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 ppm using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator.

Test kit includes:

• Hardness Buffer Reagent – 60 mL
• Manganese Indicator Reagent – 30 mL
• Chloroform Reagent – 100 mL
• Metal Inhibitor, 15 mL
• Test Tubes 6.5&10.0 mL glass w/caps (2)
• Pipet 1.0 mL plastic w/cap (1)
• Pipet 0.5 mL plastic w/cap (1)
• Pipet 1.0 mL plastic (1)
• Low Range Manganese Comparator 0.05-1.0 ppm (1)

Three methods are available. The 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol(PAN) method forms an orange complex with manganese. The other two methods use oxidation of manganese to permanganate by either persulfate or periodate, and subsequent analysis of the resulting pink color. Metal interferences with the PAN method can be eliminated using the Cyanide Inhibitor Package (LAM 7104)
