The SenSafe® Low Range Chlorine Dioxide test strip can test a broad range of concentrations. Accurate results are obtained in under one minute, making the new chlorine dioxide test strip ideal for the paper processing industry. Strips are packaged in either bottles or foil packs labeled with a detailed color chart. This patented test promises to be a very attractive alternative to wet chemical chlorine dioxide tests for several reasons. A mechanical reader is NOT required; the unique indicator is reactive only to chlorine dioxide and accurate results are achieved in under one minute. But best of all, this product is safe and easy to use since there are no chemicals to mix, a MSDS is not required, and the indicator is noncarcinogenic.

Why test for Chlorine Dioxide?

For best results, run test immediately after collecting a fresh water sample. Chlorine Dioxide is a sanitizer & oxidizer used in paper manufacture and water treatment. The USEPA limits contamination to 1ppm for drinking water. It is commonly used as a water additive to control microbes and can be used to control tastes and odors. It rapidly disappears from stored water.
